Liver Transplant Support - About Us

This site is aimed at informing you by reading the experiences of others: what happens from being diagnosed with a potential life threatening liver situation to the expectation of a successful conclusion. We aim to offer on-line help to potential liver recipients to get grounding on the implications of selection and pre & post transplant information by those that have first hand experience.

Liver Transplant Support was formed in 2003 in recognition of the need of patients, family and friends for information and help with the understanding of a liver transplant; not only by being offered medical information but being able to communicate with others who have had the experience first hand. Their knowledge is undeniably invaluable in gaining the information that can be difficult to ask of the health professionals, (because they often don’t know).

Investigate the Liver Transplant Support site; you can participate within the forum or contact us through the website contact page if you have suggestions or wish to form your own satellite support groups within your area. We will endeavour to answer your questions or alternatively suggest who may give the best advice.
Thank you for looking in.  George, editor Liver Transplant Support.
